We had our first session of the FoodFit Program on Monday, April 24th, 2017. Here’s a little description about the program: FoodFit is a 12-week program designed to help you learn the skills and knowledge to make healthy choices when it comes to food and exercise that will help improve your health and make health and wellness a lifelong priority.
And here’s a bit of what we did during the first session:
Many of us were there to learn more about healthy eating and get motivation from each other to do more exercises. Volunteers prepared a healthy snack with wheat crackers, almond butter spread and sliced strawberries on top.
Just before having lunch we prepared together, we went out for a short walk. The weather was perfect for the walk. When we came back, we ate our meal together.
So that’s our week 1 for the FoodFit Program. We are looking forward to next week’s session. Stay tuned for recipes and updates.
