We started the year with planting seeds in our mini green house.
Thanks to Ariel we managed to grow 160 sunflower seedlings.
Give away the seedlings at our Earth Day Celebration out at our Gardeners Hangout Program at Clinton Park.
To our Amazing Volunteer, Ayaka!
Just the two of us, we tried our best to grow
Kale, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Sweet Peas and Carrots.
But the best part of gardening is when we celebrate with the One of its Kind…
“The Frog Hollow Veggie Contest at Our Harvest Fair!!!! “
Amy Weeks from The Vancouver Food Bank Judging our veggies… “ahhh!… so hard to pick First Prize!”
Everyone is a winner-yes that’s right, all 47 contestants!
And we We We end the season with our youth planting garlic for the new year.
