Edible Flowers! Here is a recipe that I have tried. I got it from this site http://sonic.net/~wildfarm/permflowerrecipes.html. They have a great site with links to pictures of all the edible flowers and more recipes as well. You don’t need many lavender flowers in this recipe, just a few will do. Try it! Let me know what you thought of them
5/8 cup margarine
1/2 cup organic cane sweetener
1 egg (beaten)
1 tbsp dried lavender flowers
1 1/2 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream the margarine and sugar together. Next, stir in the egg. Mix in the lavender flowers and the flour.
2. Grease two cookie sheets and drop spoonfuls of the mixture on them. Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes until the cookies are golden.
