Harvesting Greens the End of May!

Swiss Chard

Beautiful swiss chard that came up in march! We harvested the leaves for our salad. Don’t pull it out when the leaves are big, just harvest by clipping off the leaves. More will grow!

The Kale we transplanted a couple of weeks ago are loving their new home

The spinach is really coming along growing with the garlic. Off to the side you can see a corner of the mesculin mix of greens. We harvested the baby greens to add to our swiss chard for a salad. In this picture we had already harvested the Swiss chard just in between the garlic.
